Weekend and Travel Nanny Needed in Omaha, Nebraska

Compensation: $75K-$95K annually, based on experience

Schedule: Friday 4:00pm - Monday 8:00am

Benefits: The family offers 13 days of PTO (5 chosen by the family), paid major federal holidays that fall on weekends (or the option to work for double pay), a healthcare stipend, annual raises and bonuses, and a fully furnished apartment for off days

Live-out: Live-in during the weekend; fully furnished apartment provided for off days

This loving family’s two children are bright, creative, and affectionate, with interests ranging from swimming, museum visits, and tennis to music, aviation, superheroes, puzzles, dinosaurs, and coloring. The children sleep through the night, ensuring the nanny has restful evenings during their weekend shift. The family travels frequently, including trips to nearby lake homes, the Ozarks, Florida, and occasionally international destinations. A fully furnished apartment located 10 minutes from the family’s home is provided for the nanny during off days, offering a private and comfortable living arrangement.

Ideal Candidate:

The family is seeking a professional, reliable, and go-with-the-flow nanny with experience and passion for working with children, including those with special needs. Comfort driving in snowy conditions is essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive and thoughtful, with a focus on fostering creativity and supporting developmental growth. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning creative and developmental activities to engage the children

  • Accompanying the children on outings to museums, tennis lessons, and other activities

  • Assisting with packing and organization for family travel

  • Providing occasional pet care for the family’s two large friendly dogs (e.g., walks, filling water bowls)

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience, including with special needs children

  • A valid US driver’s license and comfort driving in snow

  • Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the United States

  • Pet-friendly and comfortable caring for large dogs

  • A minimum of 3 glowing childcare references
