Infant Nanny Needed in Back Bay

Children: One child, will be 2 months old boy
Compensation: $30-$35 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00am-5:30pm (or 8:30-6:00pm); occasional weekends are a plus but not required
Description: A warm family in Back Bay, Boston, is seeking a collaborative and loving nanny to care for their newborn baby. If you love babies and supporting families, we'd love to hear from you!

Benefits: The family will provide benefits including 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses one week), paid major federal holidays, 5 paid sick days, and a monthly healthcare stipend if needed
Live-Out: This is a live-out role.
Other Notes: The family prefers the nanny use public transit but is open to purchasing a parking spot as part of the overall compensation package if needed
Household Dynamic:
The family is welcoming their first child, a baby boy, and is looking forward to building a collaborative relationship with a warm and experienced nanny. Mom works from a home office, while Dad travels frequently for work. The nanny will have opportunities to travel with the family to Washington, DC, a few times each year or join them for a week on Cape Cod during the summer.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is seeking a nanny who is intellectually curious, calm, patient, and enthusiastic about working with babies. Responsibilities include baby laundry, cleaning pump parts, bottle prep, meal preparation when the baby begins solids, and helping with light family cooking as a bonus. Additional duties include local errands, tidying and organizing the home, and supporting the baby’s development by incorporating learning into daily activities. Compensation is a range between $30-$35 per hour depending on candidate expereince.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a four-year college degree
3+ years of relevant childcare experience
Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the United States
Willingness to use public transit or a valid US driver’s license
A clean driving record
A minimum of 3 outstanding childcare references
