Description:
Are you an experienced, warm, and proactive nanny looking for a long-term role with a wonderful family? This incredible opportunity with a family in the Upper West Side of NYC might be the perfect fit!
Children: Two boys, ages 4 months and 2 years
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8/9:00am - 5/6:00pm (40 - 45 hours per week)
Compensation: $30 - $40 per hour based on experience
Benefits: The family is offering competitive benefits including 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses one week), 5 paid sick days, paid major federal holidays, and a monthly healthcare stipend if needed.
Live-Out: This is a live-out role.
Household Dynamic:
This welcoming and organized family is looking for a caring, engaging, and safety-conscious nanny to support the growth and development of their two young children. The family follows a healthy diet and does not eat pork or shellfish. They do not allow screen time for their children during the day and value creative, hands-on play. Their older child attends school three mornings a week, and the nanny will primarily be responsible for both children outside of those hours. The family does not have any pets, and no car is needed for the role, though a valid driver’s license is a plus.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is seeking a warm, proactive, and experienced nanny who can confidently care for two young children at different developmental stages. A nanny who is safety-conscious, highly organized, and engaging will thrive in this role. The right candidate will be comfortable balancing both children’s needs, fostering a structured yet flexible routine, and maintaining open communication with the parents.
Responsibilities Include:
Engaging both children in age-appropriate, creative, and educational activities
Managing children’s daily routines, including meals, naps, and diapering
Preparing healthy meals for the children (family offers 30 minutes of alone time for this)
Handling children's laundry and making their beds
Light household tidying and organization related to the children
Dishwashing and keeping the kitchen tidy
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience caring for infants and toddlers
Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the United States
A valid US driver’s license
Comfortable working in a home where parents are sometimes present
Must be engaging, proactive, and organized
If you’re a nurturing and experienced nanny looking for a long-term role with a wonderful family, we’d love to hear from you!
