Household Dynamic:

A loving and busy family in Southborough, MA, is seeking a highly flexible, calm, and organized nanny to care for their growing family. The nanny will primarily care for their youngest child(ten) during school hours and will assist with before and after school routines for the older two children. The family follows a structured yet warm approach to parenting and prefers a nanny who can help maintain a screen-free, engaging environment.

Both parents are physicians and work hybrid schedules between home and the office. The family’s home is nut- and seafood-free due to allergies, and they have an EpiPen on hand and will train the candidate on this. No pets are in the home, and no travel is required for this role.

Ideal Candidate:

The family is looking for a flexible, upbeat, and proactive nanny who thrives in a dynamic household. A background in Montessori is a plus but not required. Strong common sense, an easy-going nature, and the ability to remain calm amid the typical chaos of a busy home are key qualities for success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing attentive and loving care to the youngest child during school hours

  • Assisting with before and after school routines, including driving to activities (using the family’s car)

  • Preparing simple meals for the children

  • Handling children’s laundry and maintaining tidiness in common areas

  • Organizing toys, activities, and play spaces

  • Supporting the transition when the new baby arrives (Mom will be on maternity leave for 2-3 months)

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional childcare experience

  • Experience with multiple children, including infants and toddlers

  • Highly flexible and adaptable to changing schedules

  • Comfortable working in a home with parents present

  • Reliable transportation to and from work

  • Eligibility to work in the United States

  • Outstanding references

This role is perfect for a nanny who thrives in a fast-paced, loving environment and enjoys working with multiple children of different ages. If you’re an organized, patient, and warm caregiver looking for a long-term role with a wonderful family, we’d love to hear from you!
