Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses one week), 5 paid sick days, paid major federal holidays, and a healthcare stipend if needed
Live-Out: This is a live-out role.
Household Dynamic:
The family describes their daughter as active, loving, and full of personality. She enjoys singing, dancing, swimming, and exploring museums and beaches. She is bilingual in Spanish, and the family would love a Spanish-speaking nanny (though not required). Their home is joyful and busy, with both parents occasionally working from home in dedicated offices, and a small, friendly 6-moth-old mini dachshund who is part of the daily routine. The family places a high value on a calm, communicative, and flexible nanny who can take initiative, support the child's needs, and help manage the household smoothly. The child has eczema and eats a clean diet to support her skin (no processed foods, seed oils, or refined sugar).
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal nanny is a natural leader with a nurturing presence who can confidently set boundaries while maintaining a fun and loving environment. Strong multitasking and communication skills are key, along wit ha warm and steady personality. A Spanish speaker is a plus. Must be a confident swimmer and comfortable caring for a small dog.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide engaging, attentive care for the child
Plan developmentally appropriate and fun activities both at home and in the community
Drive to and from outings (must have own vehicle, parking provided)
Tidy up common areas and child spaces; take out trash
Handle child's laundry, meal prep, and grocery shopping
Track and maintain child-related inventory (clothing, supplies, etc.)
Help with pet care (feeding, occasional walking for small dog)
Be available for travel domestically and internationally (1-2+ times/year)
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
3+ years of nanny experience
Strong swimmer
Dog-friendly
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to start date)
Spanish-speaking preferred
Flexible, organized, and a clear communicator
Bachelor's degree
