Full-Time Nanny Position Available with a Wonderful Family in Newton!
Start: April 28th (The family would love to have babysitting opportunities beforehand to help the kids adjust)

Compensation: $30 - $32/hr ($85k - $92k)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (50 hours per week guaranteed)

Location: Newton, MA (Moving from the South End in April)

Benefits: The family is offering 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses one week), paid major federal holiday, 5 paid sick days, and a monthly healthcare stipend if needed.
Live In/Out: The family would love a candidate who is willing to live-in Monday through Friday and live-out on the weekends, but are open to a fully live-out nanny.
Household Dynamic:
A warm and welcoming family in Newton is seeking a dedicated and experienced nanny to care for their two boys. Their 2.5-year-old is highly verbal, communicative, and loves cars, dinosaurs, space, and rocket ships! While he is in preschool full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM), the primary focus will be on their 7-month-old. The family values a nanny who is playful, engaging, and eager to create a stimulating and loving environment. Both parents travel frequently for work, and Dad works from home on Mondays and Fridays. Occasional travel, both domestic and possibly international, would be a plus!
Ideal Candidate:
The family is looking for a nanny who is warm, reliable, and energetic. The ideal candidate should be an open communicator and comfortable working around parents when they are home. Flexibility is key, as the family may need occasional evening or weekend coverage. A proactive self-starter who is organized and attentive to both childcare and light household tasks will thrive in this role.
Responsibilities:
Provide loving and attentive care for both children
Plan fun and engaging activities, encouraging development and exploration
Assist with light household duties, including:
Kitchen tidying and organization
Children's laundry
Meal prep for the kids (bonus if open to meal prep for the whole family)
Seasonal clothing inventory and organization
Bottle cleaning and sanitation
Light home tidying and organization
Let the family dog out in the yard as needed (dog walker comes regularly)
Be mindful of the baby’s mild milk and soy intolerance (avoiding dairy for now)
Occasional travel support (domestic and possible international)
Qualifications:
Prior experience caring for infants and toddlers required
Professional nanny experience strongly preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Comfortable working in a home where parents are occasionally present
