Engaging and Warm Nanny Needed for a Loving Family in Newton, MA

Compensation: $30- $35 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday (2 days 8:00-5:30, 2 days 8:00-6:00, and Fridays 10:00-2:00)

Ideal Candidate:

The family is looking for a nanny who is engaging, warm, proactive, and experienced in managing young children’s needs. Responsibilities include:

• Providing attentive care to both children, focusing on their development and planning engaging daily activities

• Keeping play areas tidy, cleaning up after meals and activities, and organizing/rotating toys as needed

• Assisting with light household tasks such as folding laundry or meal prep, as time permits

• Understanding and managing the younger child’s food allergies (family will provide training)

The ideal candidate should be comfortable driving the children, as the family requests that the nanny to use their own for school drop off/pick ups and outings (mileage reimbursed). The oldest child uses a structured screen time system and is potty trained. The nanny will support the transition of the older child to full-day kindergarten in the fall.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant childcare experience

• Experience with and supportive of gentle parenting techniques

• Reliable vehicle and a clean driving record

• Eligibility to work in the United States

• Excellent references
