Hours: 40-45 hours per week

Benefits: The family is offering a competitive benefits package, including 5 paid sick days, 2 weeks of paid vacation (with the nanny selecting one week), paid major federal holidays, and an optional healthcare stipend if needed.
Live-out: This is a live-out role.
Household Dynamic:
A warm and loving family in Back Bay is looking for an experienced and confident nanny to care for their happy, easygoing, and active baby girl. The family values a calm, nurturing, and knowledgeable caregiver who can provide support to parents while helping establish routines and a predictable daily rhythm. Both parents work from home 1-2 days per week, and the nanny should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment. No car is needed for this role, but parking is available if required. The family does not have pets, and no travel is necessary.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is seeking a highly experienced nanny with a calm, confident, and adaptable presence. The ideal candidate will be nurturing and patient, with a strong understanding of infant development and early childhood milestones. A Montessori background is a plus but not required. They are looking for someone who is naturally confident in their abilities but also collaborative, helping parents build their own instincts without judgment. Strong communication skills are key, as the family values a nanny who explains her caregiving techniques, shares research, and provides developmental insights in an informative and supportive way.
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive and loving care for the baby
Establishing daily routines and developmentally appropriate activities
Supporting parents in understanding their baby’s development and needs
Kitchen tidying and bottle cleaning/sanitizing
Preparing baby meals when transitioning to solids
General home tidying and organization as needed
Very light baby laundry
Qualifications:
Experienced with infants and knowledgeable about newborn care
Calm, nurturing, and confident, with a gentle and guiding approach
Strong communicator who can explain caregiving techniques and developmental milestones
Collaborative and adaptable to different parenting styles
Ability to establish consistent routines while remaining flexible to the baby’s needs
Montessori experience is a plus but not required
No car required, but parking is available if needed
